TaskFlux - Terms of Use
Effective Date: February 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the TaskFlux platform (“TaskFlux” or the “Platform”).
By creating an account or continuing to use TaskFlux, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Worker Code of Conduct.
If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.
1. Nature of Platform & Independent Status
TaskFlux is a digital task coordination platform facilitating voluntary, task-based freelance participation.
Participation is strictly on an independent contractor basis.
Nothing in these Terms creates:
- Employment
- Employer-employee relationship
- Wage entitlement
- Partnership
- Joint venture
- Agency
Workers:
- Control when and whether they accept tasks
- Are not guaranteed work
- Are not guaranteed income
- Are not entitled to employment benefits
- Are solely responsible for their taxes and legal compliance
TaskFlux does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice.
2. Regulatory & Legal Disclaimer
TaskFlux operates solely as a technology platform.
TaskFlux does not:
- Guarantee wages
- Offer financial returns
- Act as a financial institution
- Provide payroll services
- Provide employment
Users are solely responsible for:
- Income declaration
- Tax payment
- Compliance with laws in their jurisdiction
- Determining whether participation is lawful in their country
Participation is voluntary and at the user's own risk.
3. Platform Authority & Operational Discretion
TaskFlux reserves sole discretion to:
- Assign, modify, or remove tasks
- Approve or reject submissions
- Suspend or terminate accounts
- Freeze payouts pending investigation
- Modify or discontinue platform features
- Update policies
All operational decisions are final unless explicitly stated otherwise.
4. Voluntary Task Acceptance
Workers are free to accept or decline tasks.
TaskFlux does not impose minimum work requirements.
Failure to accept tasks does not create liability.
5. Official Communication Channel
Discord is the sole official operational communication channel.
Workers must maintain active access and monitor updates.
Failure to monitor Discord does not excuse missed instructions or deadlines.
6. Worker Obligations
Workers agree to:
- Submit original work
- Follow task instructions precisely
- Maintain professional communication
- Comply with all platform policies
Workers may not:
- Use automation to manipulate outcomes
- Share task instructions externally
- Reverse-engineer platform systems
- Circumvent moderation systems
- Harass staff
- Share or transfer accounts
- Extract platform data through scraping tools
Accounts are non-transferable.
7. Confidentiality & Trade Secrets
TaskFlux workflows, moderation systems, payout structures, operational logic, and internal methodologies constitute confidential information and trade secrets.
Workers shall not:
- Copy
- Reproduce
- Replicate
- Commercialize
- Disclose
any proprietary platform systems.
This obligation survives termination indefinitely.
8. Intellectual Property Assignment
All approved task submissions and associated rights are irrevocably assigned to TaskFlux upon payment.
Workers waive ownership claims once compensated.
TaskFlux retains full rights to use, modify, and distribute submissions.
9. Non-Circumvention
Workers shall not:
- Recruit TaskFlux workers for competing platforms
- Induce workers to bypass TaskFlux
- Build competing networks using platform relationships
- Facilitate off-platform replication
Violation may result in termination and forfeiture of unpaid balances.
10. Anti-Collusion & Manipulation
Workers may not:
- Coordinate submissions
- Share task responses
- Manipulate payout thresholds
- Organize mass disputes
Confirmed coordinated abuse may result in permanent termination and forfeiture of pending balances.
11. Payments & Disputes
Payments are issued only for approved, compliant submissions.
TaskFlux may:
- Reject low-quality work
- Cancel unpaid tasks
- Freeze payouts pending investigation
If fraud is confirmed, balances may be forfeited.
If fraud is not confirmed, funds will be released.
Payment disputes must be filed within 7 days via official Discord ticket.
All decisions are final.
12. Payment Processor Separation
TaskFlux is not responsible for:
- Payment delays
- Chargebacks
- Payment processor errors
- Banking disruptions
13. Investigation Authority
TaskFlux may audit activity logs, review behavioral patterns, and conduct fraud investigations.
Workers must cooperate in good faith.
14. Indemnification
Workers agree to indemnify and hold harmless TaskFlux from:
- Claims arising from misconduct
- Regulatory penalties triggered by user actions
- Fraud-related damages
- Third-party legal claims
This obligation survives termination.
15. Limitation of Liability
TaskFlux is provided “as-is.”
TaskFlux shall not be liable for:
- Platform outages
- Income loss
- Indirect damages
- Regulatory changes
- Government restrictions
16. Force Majeure
TaskFlux shall not be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control.
17. Arbitration & Dispute Resolution
All disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in English under internationally recognized commercial arbitration rules.
Workers waive participation in class actions.
Arbitration decisions are final.
18. Amendments
TaskFlux may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use constitutes acceptance.
